Most of Mr Panda’s animal acquaintances don’t hang around long enough to find out what he’s making.

Some of them take a wild guess at the contents of his mixing bowl, but they just don’t have the staying power to witness the results.

With a warm yet limited palette and strong characterisation, this is bound to be another smash hit from the relatively new, but already renowned author/illustrator.

Only a particularly personable and extremely patient penguin is able to hang in and wait for the promised spectacular surprise.

But will his patience be rewarded?
