The Superhero Comic Kit by Jason Ford (Laurence King)

comicIf you know a young creative sort and particularly one with a penchant for Superheroes, then ‘The Superhero Comic Kit‘ by Jason Ford is a definite must.

This isn’t just an activity book, it’s an activity book of epic proportions, according to my 8 year old.

12002108_10153524370715446_7215722034982062001_nThis cleverly packaged A3 book gives the reader the chance to create their own comics. Including ten 8 pull-put pages, publish your own comics and share your adventures with your friends.

Use the variety of helpful tips, tricks and stickers, to get started. There are no super skills required here, just a vivid and active imagination.

My 8 year old spent hours creating her own characters. She enjoyed using the stickers to bring her story to life and the prompts at the beginning of each new comic proved a great starting point. It was also pleasing to see a mix of male and female superhero characters. A superhero sized thumbs-up here!
